The program is a Level II entry. Students who complete a Level I year of study, from any program, including the pre-requisite Grade 12 biology or Level I university biology component, are eligible to apply.

The minimum grade point average for program entry is 6.0 (minimum average required for consideration).

Admission decisions are based on satisfying the admission requirements, including a review of the mandatory IRH Supplementary Application.

The grade average for those applicants presented with an offer will vary from year to year depending on the applicant pool, and the decisions are based on a combination of grade averages and the review of the supplementary application.

The reality is, there is no “perfect/target” GPA to apply, as long as an applicant meets our admission requirements, they will be reviewed by our admissions team. For these reasons, we do not provide the grade average from previous years.

Applicants may have level 1 courses with non-numeric grades on their University transcript which is acceptable.  Your GPA would be calculated based on numeric graded courses only, which will be reviewed in combination with your supplementary application.

We do not provide feedback or scores to applicant’s who have completed the IRH Supplementary Applicaiton.

Unfortunately, if you missed the application deadline, you will not be considered for the program.

Students with the BHSc (Hons) IRH Program will develop a range of skills that are transferable to a variety of careers.

Our graduates will go on to careers in:

• Post-graduate health-care professional training, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, massage therapy, chiropractic, audiology, speech-language pathology, medicine and/or other allied health careers that involve clinical assessment and intervention.
• Health Services support and development, such as health policy analysts and researchers, consultants, program developers, and other career affiliated with health and human resources.
